The Consumer Token allows this scanner to securely read live market data on your behalf.

Log into the Kotak Neo Web Dashboard.

On the top navigation menu, click on the More tab.

From the dropdown or menu page, click on Trade API.

Click on the Default Application (or click "Create your first application" if you don't have one).

Navigate to the Production Keys section and generate your keys. Copy the text string labeled Consumer Key and paste it into the scanner setup.
🔐 How to get the TOTP Secret Key
The TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) key is required to automate your daily login without needing an OTP SMS.

Log into the Kotak Neo Mobile App or Web Dashboard.

Go to your Profile (Settings) and select Security.

Select Enable TOTP / Authenticator App. You will see a QR code appear on the screen.

DO NOT scan the QR code yet. Look below the QR code and click the link that says "Can't scan QR code?" or "Enter manually".

A 16 to 32-character text string will appear. This is your TOTP Secret Key. Copy it and securely save it.
Crucial Step: After copying the key for the scanner, you must still paste that same key into an app like Google Authenticator or Authy on your phone, and enter the resulting 6-digit code into Kotak to finalize the setup!
